Editing

Skills

One-click, expert edits — 17 built in, and as many of your own as you like. Type “/” to bring them up.

Using a skill

  • Type / in the dashboard composer or the builder chat.
  • Pick a skill with the arrow keys and Enter, or click it.
  • If it has options — a colour, a tone, how many FAQs — a small dialog asks first. Choose, then Apply skill.
  • On the dashboard a skill starts a fresh build; in the builder it edits the current project.

A skill edits, it does not rebuild

In the builder, a skill sends your current project with an expert instruction scoped to one concern, and only that concern is allowed to change. Your business, copy, section order and existing photos are kept, and you get a report of what changed with an Undo button — so trying one is never risky.

Where skills work

The built-in skills apply to websites. The other build types do not take skills yet.

Design skills · 5

Change how the site looks — theme, colour, type and layout.

Redesign

A fresh, premium redesign

Use it when: The content is right but the look is dated, generic, or "template-y".

What it changes
  • Picks a new theme preset, accent colour, font pairing and corner radius
  • Varies section layouts (hero centered↔split, features grid↔bento) for rhythm
  • Tightens visual hierarchy; may lightly sharpen wording

Leaves alone: Your business, copy meaning, page and section order.

Dark Theme

Sleek dark redesign

Use it when: You want the same site in a premium dark palette.

What it changes
  • Switches to a dark preset with a deep background
  • Picks an accent that pops on dark and keeps text at WCAG AA contrast

Leaves alone: Every headline, section and structure — this is a colour change only.

Options you can set
Accent colour

Restyle

Describe a look, get it

Use it when: You can name the look you want — a reference, an idiom, or just more air.

What it changes
  • Reads the description as theme values: preset, font, radius, motion and density
  • Recognised looks apply exactly and identically every time, without an inference
  • Relative asks like “more spacing” or “rounder” step from where the theme already is

Leaves alone: Every section, its order, all copy and all images — this is the theme only.

Options you can set

Free text — e.g. “e.g. like Stripe · Apple-style · glassmorphism · more premium · increase spacing”

Brand Refresh

Cohesive colour & type system

Use it when: The colours and type feel inconsistent or off-brand.

What it changes
  • Commits to one confident accent colour, applied consistently
  • Sets a font pairing and radius that match the brand personality
  • Aligns section variants so the visual language is coherent

Leaves alone: All copy and structure — nothing textual changes.

Sharpen the Hero

A stronger first impression

Use it when: Visitors land and bounce — the top of the page is not selling.

What it changes
  • Rewrites the headline into a specific, benefit-led promise
  • Adds a crisp supporting subheadline and a clear primary CTA
  • Picks the best hero layout (centered / split / showcase)

Leaves alone: The rest of the page, and the hero image.

Sharpen what is already there — words, accessibility, phones, focus.

Copy Polish

Sharpen every word

Use it when: The writing reads generic, vague, or full of filler.

What it changes
  • Rewrites headlines to be specific and benefit-led
  • Makes body copy concrete — real outcomes, named details
  • Cuts clichés and marketing fluff, keeping your brand voice

Leaves alone: Section types, order, theme and every factual claim already present.

Accessibility

Audit & fix to WCAG AA

Use it when: You need the site usable by everyone (and legally safer).

What it changes
  • Fixes colour contrast to WCAG 2.2 AA (4.5:1 body, 3:1 large text)
  • Adds meaningful image descriptions
  • Repairs heading order and replaces vague link labels like "click here"

Leaves alone: The design intent and all content — it makes the smallest fixes that reach AA.

No options — applies straight away.

Mobile Optimise

Make it shine on phones

Use it when: It looks great on desktop but cramped or slow to read on a phone.

What it changes
  • Front-loads the most important sections
  • Shortens over-long headlines and paragraphs for narrow screens
  • Makes CTAs clearer and fewer

Leaves alone: The theme, section types and order — this is about copy length and priority.

No options — applies straight away.

Trim & Tighten

Leaner, faster, focused

Use it when: The page has grown bloated and repeats itself.

What it changes
  • Removes redundant or low-value sections and merges overlapping ones
  • Trims long item lists down to the strongest entries
  • Keeps the hook → value → proof → action spine intact

Leaves alone: The best real content on the sections it keeps.

No options — applies straight away.

Growth skills · 3

Get more out of the traffic you already have.

Conversion Boost

Turn visitors into customers

Use it when: You get traffic but not enough sign-ups, bookings or sales.

What it changes
  • Leads the hero with a sharp value proposition and one primary CTA
  • Repeats a focused CTA at natural decision points
  • Adds or strengthens trust signals right before the asks
  • Reorders sections into a hook → value → proof → offer narrative

Leaves alone: Your existing content and images — sections are reordered, not rewritten away.

  • Optionally adds a stats bar or client logos
  • Places the proof where doubt peaks — just before an ask

Your own skills

Choose Create a skill from the “/” menu, or open Settings → Skills, to save an instruction you would otherwise type every time — “always use our brand voice”, “lay pricing out as three cards”. Give it a name, an optional /trigger to jump straight to it, and up to 8,000 characters of instructions.

Skills belong to the workspace, so everyone on your team gets the same ones.
