How a chat edit works

Because your current project travels with the request, an edit can never quietly discard what you already have — and existing photographs are carried through, so they are not regenerated or charged again.

Good edit requests

  • Name the part: “in the pricing section, make the middle plan stand out”.
  • Say the outcome, not the steps: “make the hero feel more premium”.
  • One change per message is easiest to check and to undo.

Photographs

Existing photos are kept. Only image slots the edit newly creates are filled — and only those new images are charged.

Starting over instead

A message that is only “start over” or “rebuild” builds from scratch and cannot be undone. Anything else is an edit. See Regeneration.
