Build Costs

What a build costs depends on the build type and the mode. These are estimates; you are charged for what the build actually used.

A typical website

A typical website build with photographs is about 60 credits ($0.60); without photographs, about 28. Photographs are roughly half of a build’s cost, which is why Lite — which skips them — is so much cheaper.

Estimates by mode

The same estimates the composer shows, for each build type. The output length of a build cannot be known in advance, so treat them as a guide.

Lowering the cost

  • Plan first — a conversation costs far less than a build you then throw away.
  • Use Lite for drafts and switch to Economy or Power for the version you will publish.
  • Edit instead of rebuilding: an edit keeps existing photographs and is charged only for new ones.
  • Make small fixes in the inspector — they are free.
