MCP Overview
Webforgia is a hosted MCP server: point Claude, Cursor, VS Code or any MCP client at it and an AI assistant can list, build and publish your projects.
What it lets an assistant do
- List your projects and read any project’s full specification.
- Build a new site from a description, and publish it.
- Check a specification it wrote before submitting it, list your skills and read your credit balance.
Nothing to install on our side: the server runs at https://webforgia.com/api/mcp. You give your client the address and an API key, and the key decides which workspace it works in and what it may do. See Setup.
The tools
7 tools — read-only ones (list_projects, get_project, list_skills, get_credits, validate_spec), one that builds (create_site) and one that publishes (publish_site). Every tool and its inputs: Available Tools.
MCP servers as build context
Separately, the composer’s + → MCP servers lets you name MCP servers your team uses — Stripe, GitHub, Notion. That does not connect anything: the names tell the builder which tools you use, so it lays the site out for them — a pricing section for Stripe, a project showcase for GitHub.
