Getting Started

Quick Start

From signing up to a live link. Most people do this in under ten minutes.

The five steps

  1. Create an account
Sign up with email or Google. No card is needed — every new workspace gets $2.00 of credit (200 credits) to try it.
  2. Pick what you are making
In the dashboard composer, choose a build type — Website is selected by default. For Game and App, you then choose 2D or 3D, and cross-platform or instant web.
  3. Describe it
Say who it is for and what it should get them to do — “a booking site for my barber shop in Leeds, with prices and an appointment button”. The composer starts in Plan, so you can talk the idea through first; switch to Build to go straight to building. See Writing a Good Prompt.
  4. Answer a few questions, then build
Before a first website build, Webforgia may ask two to four quick questions about style and content. Pick answers or skip. The build then runs, and you watch each stage as it happens.
  5. Refine, then publish
Ask for changes in the chat, or type / for one-click skills. When you are happy, press Publish: you get a live HTTPS address straight away, and can add your own domain later.

What the free credit covers

The trial includes one site-type build (website, design, slides, document or data visualization) and one app-type build (mobile app, game, animation or spreadsheet), in Lite mode. Add credit any time to build more and to use the Economy and Power modes. See Free Credit.
